Terms of Service

By accessing, registering for, or using any service offered by Castel Code — including but not limited to our website (castelcode.com), mobile applications, online programming courses, and consultation services — you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.

If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not access or use our services.

Castel Code provides the following services, subject to these Terms:

  Online Programming Courses: Live and recorded sessions covering Python, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, C#, C++, AI tools, and more.
• →
  Mobile App Development: Custom Android and cross-platform application development.
• →
  Web Development: Full-stack websites, landing pages, and web applications.
• →
  AI/ML Solutions: Machine learning models, chatbots, automation tools.
• →
  Technology Consulting: Strategic advice on software architecture, tech stacks, and digital transformation.
• →
  Robotics & Automation: Hardware-software integration projects.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any service at any time with reasonable notice.

To use our services, you must:

  Be at least 13 years of age. Users aged 13–17 require parental or guardian consent.
• →
  Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement under applicable law.
• →
  Not be barred from using our services under any applicable laws in Zambia or your jurisdiction.
• →
  Provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date registration information.

By using our services, you represent and warrant that you meet all eligibility requirements.

Some services require you to register an account or provide contact information (name, phone number, email) to enroll.

  You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• →
  You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.
• →
  You may not create multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions or access free content fraudulently.

  We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

By enrolling in a Castel Code course, you agree to the following:

  All course fees are stated in Zambian Kwacha (ZMW) and are payable prior to or at the time of enrollment.
• →
  Payment may be made via MTN Mobile Money, Airtel Money, bank transfer, or other accepted methods communicated at the time of registration.
• →
  Enrollment is confirmed only upon receipt of payment. We may hold your spot for up to 24 hours pending payment.
• →
  Group and bundle pricing are available — contact us for custom arrangements.
• →
  Castel Code reserves the right to adjust pricing at any time. Existing confirmed enrollments will not be affected by price changes.

We want every student to have a positive learning experience. Our refund policy is as follows:

  Full Refund: Requested at least 48 hours before the scheduled session start time.
• →
  50% Refund: Requested between 24 and 48 hours before the session.
• →
  No Refund: Requested less than 24 hours before the session, or after the session has begun.
• →
  Session Cancellation by Castel Code: A full refund or free reschedule will be offered.

When using Castel Code services, you agree NOT to:

  Share, distribute, or resell course content, source code, or materials without written permission.
• ✕
  Record live sessions without prior written consent from Castel Code.
• ✕
  Use our platforms for any illegal, abusive, or fraudulent activity.
• ✕
  Harass, bully, or intimidate other students, instructors, or staff.
• ✕
  Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any Castel Code system, account, or data.
• ✕
  Introduce malware, viruses, or harmful code into our platforms.
• ✕
  Misrepresent your identity or impersonate another person or entity.
• ✕
  Use our services to develop competing products or services without consent.

All content, materials, software, designs, logos, course content, source code samples, and documentation created by Castel Code are the exclusive intellectual property of Castel Code, protected under applicable copyright and intellectual property laws.

  Students are granted a personal, non-transferable licence to use course materials for individual learning purposes only.
• →
  The Castel Code name, logo, and brand identity may not be used without prior written authorisation.
• →
  Projects and source code developed during sessions may be used freely in your personal portfolio. Commercial use requires written consent.
• →
  Any feedback, suggestions, or ideas you provide to us may be used without compensation or attribution.

If you submit projects, comments, code, or other content to Castel Code platforms or community spaces (e.g. WhatsApp groups, class chats), you grant Castel Code a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display, share, or reference your work for educational and promotional purposes.

You retain ownership of your original work. You are solely responsible for ensuring your submissions do not infringe third-party intellectual property rights.

Castel Code provides its services on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding:

  The uninterrupted or error-free availability of our platforms.
• →
  Guaranteed employment or career outcomes resulting from course completion.
• →
  The accuracy, completeness, or fitness of course content for any specific purpose.
• →
  Compatibility of our tools or software with every device or operating system.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Castel Code and its founders, employees, and partners shall not be liable for:

  Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of our services.
• →
  Loss of data, profits, business opportunities, or revenue.
• →
  Damages arising from third-party service failures (e.g. internet providers, payment processors).
• →
  Harm caused by unauthorised access to your account due to your failure to maintain security.

Our total cumulative liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Either party may terminate the use of Castel Code services under the following conditions:

  By You: You may stop using our services at any time. For paid services, refund eligibility is governed by our Refund Policy (Section 06).
• →
  By Us: We may suspend or terminate your access immediately and without notice if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or cause harm to other users or our platform.

Upon termination, your right to access course materials ends immediately. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (including Intellectual Property, Limitation of Liability, and Governing Law) shall survive.

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Zambia.

Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of Castel Code services shall be resolved as follows:

  Step 1 – Informal Resolution: Contact us directly. We will make every effort to resolve disputes amicably within 14 days.
• →
  Step 2 – Mediation: If informal resolution fails, parties agree to attempt mediation before pursuing legal action.
• →
  Step 3 – Jurisdiction: Unresolved disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Lusaka, Zambia.

Castel Code reserves the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. When we make material changes, we will:

  Update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page.
• →
  Notify active users via email or WhatsApp group announcement.
• →
  Provide at least 14 days' notice before changes take effect for material modifications.

Continued use of our services after the effective date of any update constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
